Nachspectakle

Tonight was the inaugural Nachspectakle! The evening started with a hike (skin) up to Casper Restaurant along the South Pass Traverse. Given it was our first week in Jackson, the other locals sprinted up the mountain and we took a leisurely pace (although we were slightly worried all of the beer would be gone by the time we got there). The view of the valley as we hiked just got better and better the higher we got. We arrived to Casper Restaurant tired, sweaty, and ready for some food and beer. After about an hour of drinking and eating, we all took out our headlamps and clicked into our bindings ... and we were off! We headed down Sundance as a big group, with only the light of our headlamps. You could see little lights in front and in back of you, weave across the mountain. It was amazing to have the mountain to ourselves. We, of course, capped off the night at the Mangy Moose.
