Rugby Groupies
After learning the rules from a couple of local kiwis at a pub in Whitianga, we were all set for heading to our first Rugby World Cup games! We caught the Canada vs. Tonga game (Canada won - 25 to 20!) in Whangarei (northern part of the North Island). We then drove seven hours south and watched the USA vs. Russia game (USA won - 13 to 6!) in New Plymouth (western part of the North Island). Very fun times, even if we don't know all the rules of the game ...
